Why did you choose Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
I chose Cornell due to the change of environment it would provide me. Observing all my high-school classmates attend the same in-state colleges, I wanted to get away from seeing all the same people in college.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
I admire Cornell Engineering’s diverse community. In every lecture room I have sat in, I have witnessed a wide variety of races and cultural backgrounds where I believe I would not see in any other engineering program.

How did you get involved outside the classroom?
Currently, I am involved on an engineering project team (Cornell Seismic Design). I’m also involved with NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) where I attended the last two national conferences. To relieve stress, I’m involved with club track and play pickup basketball in my free time.
