Why did you choose Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
I chose Cornell University for its diversity of people and interests. “Any person, any study” is a common phrase around here, but it is truly a wonder to see the variety of classes and majors people have. I love Cornell Engineering and seeing the numerous ways engineering can be applied to different fields, but I also find value in having friends outside of engineering and understanding their perspectives on certain topics.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
I love the fact that everyone can find at least one thing they’re interested in. This could be through research, project teams, or even just coursework. There’s always ways to further delve into your interests here. The opportunities are endless.

How did you get involved outside the classroom?
Outside of my coursework, I am a team lead of the Cornell University Design, Build, Fly Project team. I am a Cornell Tradition fellow and support the Cornell and Ithaca communities through different volunteering opportunities. I work alongside the mascot, Touchdown the Bear, through the Big Red Bears Club. I have been an Orientation Leader every year and also work at the Cornell Engineering Admissions Office.
